The Transcribed Scores are really great. So far, they seem fairly acurate, although a couple of the chord changes needed tweaking. I bought them so a bunch of old former musician guys like myself could get together and do a Chicago tribute band. The only thing that would make the arrangements perfect would be if they were available digitally, perhaps in notaion software format, but even pdf would be great. That way, getting the individual parts would be much simpler. Overall, the books area definitely worth the price.

As a bass player I am not really a Chicago fan, but my wife is and she plays trumpet. I thought this book would be fun for us to play together and it is. The music is complicated for me because I am a beginner bass player but the bass lines are fun and with some practice I'm getting them down. I have all the music on CDs and I play along with it. This book has turned me into a Chicago fan because the bass lines are rich and fun to play. I am listening to the music and playing it alot. Now I'm looking for some more brass players to join us.

I order this because I have been studying chord progressions in rock music to that in jazz and classical. I was not anticipating the full transcription with the horn parts. This is a great book if you are in a cover band and want to do some Chicago tunes.
