As a mobile DJ these speakers are great. The dispersion is wide, highs very smooth, punchy lows. For the price they are unbeatable. Solid construction, very comparable to mackie SRM450s and JBL EON 10s, both of which cost 2/3 times as much. At 36 pounds, you can carry 2 at a time using the molded handles on each side. They can be helped with a powered subwoofer, but the same can be said about the EONS and even the mackies. The low end on these is not as smooth as the mackies and not as boxy as the EON's but somewhere in between. I would describe it as slightly boomy (but not unbearably so). The crossover point is pretty much inaudible and free from any artifacts. Note that power handling is Peak not RMS, so the 450 watts on these are not the same 450 watts on the mackies. However, power handling is still more than enough. I have yet to over drive them. They are the best value in mobile sound reinforcement available right now.
